Jersey Shore tax credit

In case you missed it, the New York Times reported, today, that Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey "blocked" a $420,000 tax credit for the reality series "Jersey Shore". (i guess i should remind all of you that i recently worked at MTV Networks, the producers of Jersey Shore....)
Governor Christie's actions were based on his conclusion that the show "....does nothing more than perpetuate misconceptions about the state and its citizens."
So, now, politicians are censoring the content of productions which are seeking tax credits??? a very bad precedent has been set.

(this has absolutely nothing to do with visual effects.) it just screams out for response. oh, yeah, and Republicans are clamoring for Governor Christie to run for the Republican nomination for President!!
stay tuned....
