Misapprehension

We identify with the 99%.....

The 1% seem pretty alarmed by Occupiers......

They needn't be.

We don't want their house. We just want a house.
We don't want their investment portfolio and stock options. We just want a pension.
We don't want to be on the board of directors of several philanthropic organizations, including the local hospital. But medical insurance would be nice.
We don't want to bankrupt their companies. But perhaps you could pay us as your employee, instead of asking us to pay YOUR share of employer payroll taxes.
We don't want to sleep in the park forever.

But we want to be recognized for a sincere desire to be treated with just a little respect.

And, if we ask for union representation, we don't deserve to be blacklisted, terminated, threatened, and stonewalled. We just want an opportunity to be heard.

It's not too much to ask.
